Jean A. Rose, 78, of Johnstown, formerly of Croton, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark. She was born on October 18, 1947 in Columbus to the late James and Donna (Miller) Wolfe.

Jean worked for the Tech Rubber Company in Johnstown for over 33 years. She enjoyed horseback riding and her twin sons, Ted and Tim were born she belonged to the Twins Club in Columbus.

Jean is survived by her sons, Brian (Barb) Rose of Johnstown and Tim (Rachale Ashbrook) of Croton; grandchildren, Ashley (Matt) Beckler, Lindsay (Zach) Torrens, Taylor (Spencer Bell) Rose, Ryan Smith, Kassi Rose, Maddison (Derek) Longstreth and Lillian Rose; great grandchildren, Baleigh Torrens, Harlyn Torrens, Kolson Torrens, Bentlee Torrens, Landon Beckler, Hannah Beckler, Eli Beckler, Averi Smith, Molli Smith, Krew Longstreth and Logan Longstreth; a brother, James (Myra) Wolfe of Johnstown;  nieces, Erica and Mary; and very close friends, Dave and Sharon Rhodeback of Croton.

In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy L. Rose on March 16, 2018; and her son, Ted Rose on April 15, 1990.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Devore Chapel, 637 State Route 61, Sunbury.

A private graveside service will be held in Hartford Cemetery, Croton.
