Representative Troy Balderson, OH-12, was invited to speak at a Town Hall in Mount Vernon, but he declined.
Undeterred, Knox Co OH Indivisible is proceeding with the event, which will highlight the concerns of veterans and citizens. Glouster-native Jerrad Christian and former Team Rubicon President Ken Harbaugh will be our guest speakers. Both Christian and Harbaugh are Navy veterans and former candidates for U.S. Congress in districts that included Knox. In addition, Marine Corps veteran Mason Blankenship will speak. Blankenship is affiliated with Save a Warrior, a group that provides resources for active duty military, returning veterans, and first responders suffering from PTSD. He is a candidate for Ohio House of Representatives.
Audience members will be encouraged to submit questions in advance, especially those that they would have asked Rep. Balderson if he planned to attend.
Please note that seating is limited and registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis. We do encourage Knox County residents to register as early as possible.
