Arrests and Charges:

Donna Babbert, 45, of Martinsburg was arrested at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday for shoplifting from the Kroger.

Cassey Young, 25, of Danville was picked up at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday for an outstanding warrant.

Traffic Citations:

Cody Smith, 20, of Mount Vernon was cited at 9:10 p.m. on Tuesday for speeding.

At 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday, a complainant reported that a suspect sold his food stamp card to another individual while he was incarcerated.  An investigation is ongoing.

At 3:25 p.m. on Tuesday, a complaint of drug use at Phillips Park was reported to the MVPD.  Suspects were identified and drug paraphernalia—including several pipes with marijuana residue, and a marijuana grinder—were collected as evidence.

Just before 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, a resident of the 400-block of W. Gambier Street reported that his wallet—and $20.00 in cash—had been removed from his 1992 Ford Explorer.

At 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, the MVPD returned a Social Security card to its owner after finding it at Foundation Park.  The owner had been fishing at the park the day before and was unaware that it had been missing.

At 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, a Kroger employee reported a shoplifter.  A suspect was identified and charged.  $88.12 worth of merchandise was recovered and two surveillance DVDs were collected as evidence.

At 7:20 p.m. on Tuesday, drug activity was reported at the old high school on the 300-block of N. Mulberry Street.  A suspect was identified and arrested and several cans of industrial-strength Ultra Duster were collected as evidence.

At 8:20 p.m. on Tuesday, a victim reported that several items had been taken from his car while parked near the Church of Christ on N. Main Street.  Among the missing items were a gray Mid-Ohio Suzuki shirt with black sleeves and the keys to his house and his car.
