MOUNT VERNON — The City of Mount Vernon Utility Billing Office would like to inform all customers that, due to a software issue, customers who had previously enrolled in paperless billing for water, wastewater, and stormwater services have been mistakenly reverted to mailed paper billing.

This issue does not affect any ACH or automatic billing accounts. If you are enrolled in ACH or automatic payments, your scheduled payments will continue without interruption.

Customers who previously received electronic bills will now receive a paper bill by mail at our address on file. Unfortunately, we are unable to correct this issue directly through our system.

If you want to opt back into paperless billing or need assistance accessing your InvoiceCloud account, visit MTVernonOH.gov for easy, step-by-step instructions on re-enrolling. You may also contact our Utility Billing Office at 740-393-9504 for further assistance.

The city sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause, and appreciates your understanding and patience as we work through this issue.

Again, automatic payments (ACH) have not been affected; only the method of billing notification has changed for those enrolled in paperless billing.
