Incidents:
At 11:05 a.m. on Thursday, an officer was dispatched to the Knox Learning Center on a reported assault. A suspect was identified.
At noon on Thursday, a victim reported that a Boss car stereo/CD player was stolen from a 2005 Buick Lesabre on the 300-block of W. Curtis Street.
At around 2:15 p.m. on Thursday, a victim reported that his identity had been stolen and fraudulently used.
Arrests and Charges:
Donald Morris, 23, of Mount Vernon was arrested at 9:05 a.m. on Wednesday on an outstanding warrant.
Traffic Citations:
Mary Burkepile, 20, of Ashland was arrested at 12:05 a.m. on Thursday for driving under the influence and for driving a vehicle on sidewalks, curbs, and lawns.
Mark West of Mount Vernon was cited at 9:15 p.m. on Thursday for speeding.
Stacey Robinson, 45, of Fredericktown was cited at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday for running a red-light.
Accidents:
At 4:25 p.m. on Thursday, Christopher Ray Rocha, 28, of Fredericktown was traveling eastbound through the Wal-Mart parking lot in his 2001 Dodge 100. Ryan McFadden, 23, of Danville was traveling westbound through the parking lot in his 1998 Audi. Rocha attempted to turn left into a parking lane and struck McFadden’s vehicle in the side.
