Nicole Therese Mosholder, age 48, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Mount Carmel St. Ann’s Hospital in Westerville, Ohio. She was born on June 14, 1976, in Columbus, Ohio, and was the daughter of the late William and Patricia (Smith) Mosholder.
Nicole graduated from the Joint Vocational School in Mt. Vernon and went to culinary school in Zanesville, Ohio. She was employed by Otterbein College and enjoyed serving food to the college students. Nicole enjoyed writing and took several writing classes through the years. She also enjoyed doing art projects, and crafting. She could frequently be seen at the Columbus Zoo, Knox County Fair and Dan Emmett Days. She enjoyed traveling-especially her “birthday trips”. She loved her many pets. She mostly loved spending time with her soulmate Chris.
She is survived by her beloved Chris Sowers, her siblings; Mike (Kathy) Mosholder, Tom (Irene) Mosholder, Rick (Marilou) Mosholder, Amy (Tom) Merry. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by parents William and Patricia Mosholder.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 5, 2025, from 10:30 am until the time of memorial service starting at 11:00 am at the First Presbyterian Church: 106 N Gay St, Mt Vernon, OH 43050 with Pastor Ross Slaughter officiating. Burial will follow in Mound View Cemetery.
