Jessica R. McElroy, age 41, of Fredericktown, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at her home. She was born on June 1, 1983, in Mount Vernon, Ohio, the daughter of Dennis and Carol (Price) McElroy. Jessica was a 2001 graduate of Fredericktown High School where she played on the softball team.
Jessica was a proud mother, who adored her son Coasta, always offering unconditional love and understanding. She cherished every moment with her son and will be remembered for her kindness and warm spirit.
She is survived by her son, Coasta Geladakis of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, her parents, Dennis and Carol McElroy, her brothers, Jimm (Kerry) McElroy of Granville and Jeff (Emily Craft) McElroy of Johnstown, her grandmothers, Margaret Price and Patsy Jean Wilson McElroy Busbee, nephews, Patric and Jac McElroy, aunts, Robyn Price and Patricia (David) Robinson and the father of her child, Yanni Geladakis.
Jessica was preceded in death by her grandfathers Ira “Bud” Price and James A. McElroy.
A Memorial Service of Life will be held on Monday, March 10, 2025, beginning at 5 p.m. at Cornerstone Community Church, 123 Columbus Road, Fredericktown, Ohio 43019 with Pastor Jerry Ernst officiating. The family will observe a private burial in Forest Cemetery.
