Mark Allen Bero, 65 of Utica passed away on February 10, 2025 at Wexner Heritage Village in Columbus. He was born on June 29, 1959 in Newark, OH to Beverly McGovern and the late George Bero.
Mark served honorably in the U.S. Marines. He worked security most of his life. He enjoyed staying active and watching military movies. He had looked forward to retiring to spend time with his family.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Chad Humberston, Tiffany Bero and Jessica (Chris) Binkley; grandchildren, Sophia Binkley, Jackson Little, Jacob Gray, Mikayla Bero, Evelyn, Addison and Annalee Wise; sisters, Kathy (Rick) Roberts and Georgina (Ray) Marcum; brother, Steve (Jeanne) Bero; nieces and nephews, Amber Smith, Ashley (Thomas Neer) Bero, Michael Bero, Georgia (Dustin) Marcum and Dillon (Brianna) Marcum.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Kevin Bero and Billy Bero.
The family will receive friends from 2-4pm on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at Brucker-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica. Funeral service will be held on Monday at 11am at the funeral home with Pastor Doug Swan officiating. Burial will follow at Eden Cemetery with military honors provided by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.
