MOUNT VERNON — The Knox County Grand Jury indicted 14 people on Monday. The majority of the indictments involved lower level drug charges.
The indictments are as follows:
- Michael Ashcraft – importuning (F4), unlawful sexual conduct with a minor or corruption (F5), attempted compelling prostitution (F4), attempted corrupting another with drugs (F3), notice of a change of address; registration of new (F4)
- Sheila Devore – aggravated possession of drugs (F5), illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia (M4)
- Jeremy Dexter – theft (F5), passing bad checks (F5)
- Elizabeth Dowalter – aggravated possession of drugs (F5), possessing drug abuse instruments (M2)
- Ashley Ferrell (aka Ashley Whittaker) – aggravated possession of drugs (F5), possessing drug abuse instruments (M2)
- David Grubbs – aggravated possession of drugs (F5)
- Cody Helms – aggravated possession of drugs (F5), illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia (M4)
- David Hollar – felonious assault (F2)
- Teresa Marks – aggravated possession of drugs (F5), illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia (F4)
- Jeremy Silliman – domestic violence (F4), aggravated menacing (M4)
- Nola Smith – aggravated possession of drugs (F5)
- Destiny Stone – aggravated possession of drugs (F5), possessing drug abuse instruments (M2)
- Gene Watts III – burglary (F3), theft (M1)
- Thomas Wilson – domestic violence (F4), felonious assault (F2)
