MOUNT VERNON — The Ohio Department of Transportation has issued its weekly road work schedule.
As a result, Knox County drivers are urged to use caution if planning to travel these roads:
State Route 13
Beginning Friday, April 26, State Route 13 will be restricted to one lane just north of SR 95 interchange in Fredericktown for a bridge reconstruction project.
One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction
Estimated completion: Oct. 15, 2019, weather permitting
Contractor: Kokosing Construction Company
Beginning Monday, April 29, State Route 13 will be closed to traffic just south of Morgan Centers Road near Mt. Vernon while ODOT crews replace a culvert.
Road will be closed to traffic for the duration of the project
Estimated completion: Tuesday, April 30, at 3 p.m., weather permitting
Detour: US 62 WB to SR 661 NB and reverse
