Harold Eugene Milligan, Jr, 84, of Mount Vernon, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023, at Knox Community Hospital, in Mt Vernon.
Harold was born December 5, 1938, in Knox County to Harold Eugene and Doris (Kirkpatrick) Milligan.
He married Irene “Nicky” Shoman on June 21st, 1959.
He had been employed and retired from Continental Can and then worked at WalMart. He was a member of the First Christian Church. He loved fishing and hunting. He loved traveling south to Georgia to visit his daughter and family.
Harold will be deeply missed by his daughters; Jackie Cline, Brenda (Ed) Bettross and Rebecca (Tate) Morgan; 6 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; sister Jeannie Schroder, brothers Ron (Gail) Milligan, Jeff (Dee) Milligan and Bart Milligan.
Harold was preceded in death by his spouse, brothers, Raymond Milligan, Robert Milligan, sisters, JoAnn Butler, Barbie Davis and son-in-law Earl M. Cline.
