Shirley Ann Farley, 75, of Mount Vernon, OH passed away on April 5, 2023 at Country Club Retirement Campus. She was born on June 13, 1947 to Delmar Skeen and Alice (Shanabrook) Dillon in Mount Vernon, OH.
Shirley is a member of the Moose Lodge 2555. She worked at The Curtis Motel. She loved watching wrestling and American Idol, playing Yahtzee and listening to and singing classic country music.
Shirley is survived by her sons Lester Farley-Hilty (Dean) of Mount Dora, FL, Eric Farley of Mount Vernon, OH; a daughter Melinda (Brad) Farley-Hager of Jacksontown, OH, 2 granddaughters Samantha Farley and Alexis Hager; sisters Patricia Monk of Pickerinton, OH, Sharon Miller of Mount Vernon, OH.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her boyfriend Ralph Smith and her sister Mary Lou Grennell.
Family and friends may call on April 10, 2023, from 5:00 – 7:00pm at Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, 619 East High Street, Mount Vernon, OH 43050. Funeral Services will be April 11, 2023, at 11:00am at the Funeral Home with Mr. Roger Marra officiating. A burial will follow at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens. There will be a luncheon after the graveside service at the Moose Lodge 2555, 417 West High Street, Mount Vernon, OH 43050
