At 10:55 a.m. on Monday,  a victim reported that someone had used two of her credit cards to make purchases out of state between July 25 and August 1, 2016.  She requested a police report for her credit card companies.

 

At 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Floyd E. Llewellyn, Jr., 48, a homeless man, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Arrests & Charges:

Tawni Osterman, 34, of Mount Vernon was arrested at 6:15 a.m. on Friday for a probation violation.

Daniel Walton, 23, of Marion was arrested at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday for disorderly conduct.

Andrew Wilson, 20, of Mount Vernon was arrested at 5:05 p.m. on Tuesday for persisting disorderly conduct.

Jonathan Walker, 35, of Fredericktown was arrested at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday for menacing and for domestic violence.

    

Traffic Citations

Anthony Stepp, 36, of Mount Vernon was arrested at 2:15 a.m. on Tuesday for drug abuse.  He was cited also for operating a vehicle while under the influence, driving under a suspended license, for a second offense within twenty years of a prior OVI, and for going the wrong way on a one-way street.

Michael Hinkens, 38, of Mount Vernon was cited at 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday for driving under a suspended license.

Incidents:

At 11:00 p.m. on Monday, a victim reported that she believed her phone had been stolen from her room at the Super 8 hotel on Coshocton Avenue.

At 5:40 p.m. on Tuesday, an officer collected a white plastic bag containing a charred substance from a residence on the 300-block of Mitchell Avenue.  It will be safely destroyed at a later date.

At 7:35 p.m. on Tuesday, officers responded to a reported domestic disturbance at a residence on the 700-block of Follin Avenue.  A suspect, Jonathan Welker, was arrested and a silver pocket-knife was collected as evidence.

At 9:40 p.m. on Tuesday, an officer responded to a request of a medical squad and collected several items of drug paraphernalia from a residence on the 900-block of Harcourt Road.  A metal pipe with burnt residue was collected for safe disposal.
