On 9/30/16, A deputy was dispatched to a Centerburg address on a complaint of damages to a mailbox. Homeowner was advised a report would be made.

On 9/30/16, a complaint was made by a Frazeysburg resident of unknown person(s) being in her car and backyard shed. Victim chased suspect from the property.

 

On 10/1/16, an Apple Valley resident reported an unknown male in his home. Daniel King was arrested for criminal trespass and transported to Knox County jail without incident.

On 10/1/16, KCSO made contact with Kenyon College Safety Office in regards to found drug paraphernalia. It was confiscated and placed into evidence to be destroyed.

On 10/2/16, a deputy was dispatched to a Bladensburg address on a commercial business alarm. Upon arrival, deputy found the store had been broken into by 2 unknown suspects, 472 packs of cigarettes were taken.

Incidents:

On 9/30/16, deputy was dispatched to a Newark Rd. address on a drug complaint. The complainants stated they found drug paraphernalia in a storage unit they were cleaning out. The paraphernalia was removed from the scene and placed in the MVPD’s evidenced locker to be disposed of at a later date.

On 9/30/16, an officer was dispatched to Eastside Laundry in reference to a counterfeit $5.00 bill. The bvill was collect and secured in evidence. Nothing further to report.

On 9/30/16, officer reported to People’s Bank of Gambier, located on Upper Gilchrist Rd. on a fraud complaint. While on the scene the complainant gave a written statement and provided several bank documents as evidence. The complaint is under investigation and will be updated as the investigation proceeds.

On 9/30/16, an officer spoke to two Knox County Career Center students who reported things were stolen out of their car. The car had been parked on E. Lamartine St. and the items were taken during the night.

On 9/30/16, an officer responded to a North Sandusky St. address on a theft complaint. A written statement was taken by the complainant who also provided photographs of the bicycle. At this time the suspect is unknown.

On 9/30/16, an officer responded to The Mount Vernon Duke and Duchjess on Coshocton Ave. on a shoplifting complaint. Upon arrival officer spoke to the complainant who indicated a suspect and possibly a co-worker had been shoplifting from the business for man unknown period of time. The complainant was advised to provide copies of video surveillance and a statement outlining what items were stolen and the value. Once stolen property is determined, officer will follow up with the suspects.

On 9/30/16, an officer responded to the Knox Community Hospital Pavilion Wound Center on a report of stalking. Officer spoke to complainant on arrival Complainant stated one of her patients showed her pictures of herself on his cellphone he had taken without her knowledge or consent. The photos had been modified with borders with inappropriate sayings. The complainant stated her supervisors had been made aware of the situation and they were discussing a possible solution to this situation. The incident is under investigation and no charges had been filed.

On 10/1/16, officers were dispatched to Rookies Bar on a disturbance. A male identified as Bryan Bird had opened a bar tab he could not pay. Byrd was subsequently arrested and charged with petty theft, resisting arrest, persisting in disorderly conduct while intoxicated, aggravated menacing and assault.

On 10/12/16, an officer was dispatched to a West Vine Street address in reference to a stolen vehicle. The investigation continues.

On 10/1/16, MVPD responded to an E. Chestnut St. address on a theft complaint.

Arrests/charges/citations:

On 9/22/16, Nicholas Snell, 32, Waterford Road, Fredericktown, was charged with one couint of theft.

On 9/29/16, Anita Weber, 64, Simmons Church road, Centerburg, was cited for failure to control/weaving.

On 9/30/26, Joshua Clendenen, 37, Coshocton, OH, was arrested and charged with marijuana drug paraprofessional, possession of drug abuse instrument,and possession of drugs, schedule 1.

On 9/30/16, Donna Prichard, 49, Count Road, was cited for seat belts required driver.

On 10/1/16, Zachary Wagner, 26, Follin Ave., was cited for driving under FRA suspension.

On 10/1/16, Bryan Bird, 30, Belmont Street, was arrested and charged with theft, aggravated menacing, assault-knowingly cause harm, disorderly conduct with persisting and resisting arrest.

On 10/1/16, George Myers, 82, Belmont Avenue, was cited for operator/chauffeur license required and driving left of center.

On 10/1/16, Lrry Ashcraft, 72, Oak Street, was cited for failure to yield right of way when turning left.

On 10/1/16, Abraham Desich, 33, Wall St. Centerburg was cited for driving under suspension.

On 10/2/16, Jonathan Shepherd, 29, Buckeye Lake, was charged with possessing drug abuse instrument.

On 10/2/16, Daniel Goudy, 27, Columbus Road, was arrested on drug paraphernalia offenses.

On 10/2/16, Jessie Hanna, 63, Chester St. was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
