GAMBIER – The amount of money raised for Food for the Hungry at Saturday night’s Gala at Kenyon College’s Gund Commons won’t be shared until the live broadcast Saturday, December 14th. But the amount of love and respect for Sally Nelson was palpable as she received a standing ovation after being named the 2013 recipient of the William A. Stroud Community Service award.
Nelson is a founding partner of Nelson & Nelson CPA’s in Mount Vernon. She has served on many community boards and in many organizations including the Food for the Hungry board, Mount Vernon Knox County Chamber of Commerce, and Psi Iota Xi.
