MOUNT VERNON — The Woodward Opera House, in partnership with Kokosing Valley Rotary and The Rotary Club of Mount Vernon, will welcome award-winning comedian and actress Kathie Dice to its stage on Friday, Nov. 13.
Doors open at 6 p.m. with Dice taking the stage at 7.
A portion of all ticket sales will go directly to AMVETS to support the rebuilding of Lodge 95 in Mount Vernon.
Dice finds humor in both the rational and irrational parts of everyday life, poking fun at the world around her with a perspective described as a voice of reason for the over-60 generation.
A regular at comedy clubs throughout the Midwest, she brings audiences laughter and a lighthearted look at familiar experiences. Her acting work includes television commercials and films such as “American Splendor,” “Night Owls of Coventry” and “Freerunner.”
The event offers an evening of comedy while honoring veterans and supporting the rebuilding of Lodge 95. Tickets are available online and at the door on the night of the show.
