Mildred Colleen Brown, age 91, of Fredericktown, Ohio, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2026, at her residence. She was born on November 24, 1934, in Delphos, Ohio, to the late Eugene and Elizabeth (Huysman) Metzger.
Mildred was a member of the Trinity Methodist Church in Delphos, Ohio. She loved being around her family and enjoyed sewing. Mildred enjoyed watching old T.V. shows and sitting in the sun on the deck. Most of all she loved her husband, grandkids and great grandkids immensely. She retired from Knox Community Hospital as a clerk in medical records.
She is survived by her children, Mark (Teresa) Wilcox, Kathleen (Doug) Stewart; 3 grandchildren, Stephanie (Tony) Fickeisen, Erin (Malcolm) Stokes, Joshua (Larissa) Stewart; 17 great grandchildren, Shannon, Elizabeth, Addy, D.J., Nathaniel, Claire, Gregory, Broderick, Elayna, Alice, Zion, Kathleen, Finnegan, Vivian, Avonlea, Ansley, and Archer.
Along with her parents, Mildred is preceded in death by her husband, Harold R. Brown; a sister and brother-in-law, Joyce (Paul) Teman; and a brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth (Carol) Metzger.
A graveside service will take place on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at 1:00 PM, at Forest Cemetery in Fredericktown, Ohio. 43019.
