Carolyn Elaine Walsh, age 80, formerly of Mount Vernon passed away on Friday, October 2, 2026, at Orchard Villa in Oregon, Ohio.
She was born on November 5, 1945, in Athens, Ohio to the late William and Lilian (Breeze) Smith. Carolyn was employed as a Medic at Country Court Nursing Home here in Mount Vernon.
She is survived by her sister Nancy McGibbeny of Toledo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband David E. Walsh; and her sons Robert Walsh and David Walsh.
A graveside service will take place in Forest Cemetery, in Fredericktown, on Friday, October 16, 2026, beginning at 11am with Pastor Richard Prater officiating.
