MOUNT VERNON— Food For The Hungry (FFTH) and Six Miles to Nellie present “The Patsy Show,” a three-performance musical tribute celebrating country music legend Patsy Cline.
Performances are slated for Friday, Nov. 20, at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 21, at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Hosted at the Woodward Opera House, 107 S. Main St., 100% of profits from ticket sales will go to Food for the Hungry to assist Knox County residents in need of food assistance.
In this immersive musical production, Six Miles to Nellie lead singer Courtney DeCosky transforms into Patsy Cline, backed by the full Nellie band. Throughout the performance, Patsy shares her personal memories behind the classic songs she recorded and their connections to her family and life.
Adding a touch of Grand Ole Opry nostalgia, the show features a special appearance by country comedy legend Minnie Pearl as host.
The event will take place at the Woodward Opera House.
All proceeds directly support Food For The Hungry of Knox County, an organization founded in 1982 to address local food insecurity.
Working alongside partner agencies like Interchurch Social Services, The Salvation Army, and dozens of local food pantries and hot meals, FFTH supports food and critical financial aid to individuals and families in Knox County. Every donation given to FFTH stays in Knox County to help neighbors in need.
