MOUNT VERNON — Church at Chapel Hill announces its 4th annual Community Fall Festival on Sunday, Oct.18, from 4–7:30 p.m. 

This free event brings local families together for an evening filled with laughter, entertainment, activities, and fun for all ages. Activities include:

  • Trunk-or-Treat — Starts at 4 p.m., but families are encouraged to line up early.
  • Multiple inflatables and obstacle courses designed for toddlers, kids, teens, and adults
  • Hayrides and free pumpkins.
  • Carnival games with prizes.
  • Barrel train rides for children.
  • A dedicated toddler area featuring age-appropriate games, a corn pit, and bounce houses.
  • Bingo featuring prizes is open to guests 18 and older.
  • Teen volleyball tournament featuring local youth groups. Pre-registration is required.
  • Live entertainment featuring Centerburg High School’s Middle C Choir, a kids talent showcase, live music and an Elvis impersonator.
  • Food trucks offering a variety of options, with a portion of sales benefiting the CH Kids Ministry.
  • Appearances by local first responders and community organizations.

“Fall Fest is about so much more than an evening of entertainment,” Connie Jackson, children’s director and Fall Festival coordinator at Church at Chapel Hill, said. “It’s an opportunity for our church and our community to come together, build relationships, celebrate the season, and create lasting memories for families.

“We are incredibly grateful to the local businesses, organizations, volunteers, and individuals who help make this free event possible each year.”
