DANVILLE — In celebration of “God’s work. Our hands.” the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America’s (ELCA) national day of service, Zion Lutheran Church is partnering with Millie’s House Thrift Store to support local families with a free clothing giveaway.
The event takes place Sunday, Sept. 13, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Millie’s House Thrift Store, located at 6½ E. Main St. in Danville.

“God’s work. Our hands.” is an annual initiative where ELCA congregations dedicate a day to neighborhood service and community outreach.
By combining resources, Zion Lutheran Church and Millie’s House Thrift Store aim to relieve strain on household budgets and ensure local individuals have access to quality apparel heading into the fall season.
