MOUNT VERNON — Habitat for Humanity of Knox County invites the community to come together for Habitat Homecoming 2026, an evening celebrating the people, partnerships and generosity that make affordable homeownership possible in Knox County.
Habitat Homecoming will take place Thursday, Nov. 12, at The Gallagher Centre. Doors open at 5 p.m. The event will bring together Habitat supporters, volunteers, homeowners, community partners and friends for an evening centered around Habitat’s mission of bringing people together to build homes, communities and hope.
More than simply a fundraising event, Habitat Homecoming is an opportunity to celebrate the impact the agency has made throughout Knox County and the individuals and organizations who make that work possible.
Bourbon raffle offers chance to win rare, sought-after bottles
As part of this year’s fundraising efforts, Habitat for Humanity of Knox County is also hosting its 2026 Bourbon Raffle, featuring 10 prize packages and a collection of rare and highly sought-after bourbons.
The raffle’s Winner’s Choice Grand Prize gives the winner the opportunity to select between two exceptional bottles: O.F.C. Vintage Bourbon or Michter’s 20 Year Kentucky Straight Bourbon. Both are valued at more than $2,000 each.
Additional prize packages include bottles from King of Kentucky, Blanton’s, Bomberger’s Declaration, Stagg, Angel’s Envy, Weller and more, including an entire eight-bottle Blanton’s collection and a Blanton’s Takara Red from Japan.
The raffle drawing will take place at approximately 7 p.m.
Raffle ticket holders do not need to be present to win. The drawing will also be broadcast live on Habitat for Humanity of Knox County’s Facebook page so supporters can follow along from anywhere.
Proceeds from the homecoming and raffle support Habitat for Humanity of Knox County’s work to help local families achieve strength, stability and self-reliance through affordable homeownership.
Habitat homeowners partner with the organization throughout the homeownership process. They complete sweat equity, participate in homebuyer and financial education, and purchase their homes with an affordable mortgage. Donations, sponsorships, volunteer labor and community support help make those opportunities possible.
Tickets for the Bourbon Raffle are on sale now.
