MOUNT VERNON — Knox Community Hospital welcomes six new providers. As many changes occur at the hospital, the main goal remains to provide quality care to the community. 

The Center for Pain Management gained two providers.

Kellee Schweitzer, M.D., attended Case Western Reserve University and the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. She completed her physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) residency at Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital and a pain and musculoskeletal fellowship.

Jessica Gray, APRN-CNP, completed her Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in nursing at Northern Kentucky University.

The Department of Primary Care, Internal Medicine on Venture Drive has reopened with three providers.

William Addington, D.O., attended Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his undergraduate at The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy. He also completed his internship and residency at Riverside Methodist Hospital.

Kevin Shields, PA-C, obtained his Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Medicine Technology and Master of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Findlay.

Hayley Testa, APRN, WHNP-BC, joined the gynecology office located on the third floor of the Wright Family Medical Pavilion. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Capital University and her Master of Science in Nursing as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of Cincinnati. Heather Walton, APRN-CNP, joined the Family Medicine Department located on the first floor in the WFMP. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Mount Carmel College of Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing at Chamberlain University.
