MOUNT VERNON — The Mount Vernon Farmers Market will relocate for one Saturday on Aug. 15 to the parking lot of The Living Center, 201 N. Main St., to make way for the annual Mount Vernon Music & Arts Festival.
The market will be held from 9 am to noon. Local growers, farmers and vendors will offer fruits and vegetables, honey, maple syrup, baked goods, treats and more.
Produce Perks Midwest will be on hand to distribute $140 Fruit & Vegetable program coupon packets to families who meet income guidelines and have children under the age of 18.
The market will move back to Public Square on Aug. 22 and remain there each Saturday through October.
