MOUNT VERNON — The Knox County Republican Party will hold its annual Lincoln-Reagan Dinner on Friday, July 17, at Foster Hall in Ariel Arena on the Mount Vernon Nazarene University campus.
This year’s featured speaker is Ohio Senator and Lieutenant Governor candidate Rob McColley.

Seven new central committee members appointed
The Knox County Republican Party met on June 18 to appoint seven new central committee members for vacant precincts.
Members appointed include LeeAnne Jurkowitz, MV-1A; Jeff McAvoy, Clinton A; John Cheek, College Twp; Evan Miller, Howard B; Randy Hudson, Milford B; David Lashley, Union Twp; and Trent Randall, Wayne Twp.
They join incumbent members Terry Divelbiss, David Dial, Jennifer Snow, Rebecca Nourse, Jamie Richardson, Debbie Malek, Margaret Ann Ruhl, John Nixon, Tanner Salyers, Scott Zimmerman, Chip McConville, John Holley, Mark Ramser, Clint Lingel, Mark Hiner, John Ruckman, Galen Smith, Scott Pullins, Greg Yashnyk, Ken Belcher, Bruce Hawkins, Angela VanWinkle, James DeChant, Dustin Buckingham, Dan Offineer, Claude Gates, Oliver Griffith, Jason Rogers, Andrew Frye, Mark Fritz, Darrel Severns, Jon Jones, Terry Zeller, Adam Grubb, Crystal McElhaney, Bill Pursel, Brandon Crunkilton, Thom Collier, Bill Lawhon, David Lashley, Lisa Mazzari and Rick Lanuzza.
