MOUNT VERNON — A Knox County grand jury indicted a Utica man on Monday for the aggravated possession of a large amount of methamphetamine.
Paul B. Swetnam, III, 44, was indicted on one count of aggravated possession of methamphetamine. Swetnam was allegedly carrying anywhere from 15 to 149 grams of methamphetamine and was indicted for a second-degree felony.
A grand jury indicted 13 other individuals in its June 29 session.

Devin R. Cramer, of Mansfield, one count of failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer, a third-degree felony, and one count of driving under financial responsibility law suspension or cancellation, an unclassified misdemeanor.
Raymond P. St. Francis, of Howard, one count of operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, a third-degree felony.
Joseph G. Seymour, of Mount Vernon, one count of possession of a fentanyl-related compound, a fifth-degree felony.
Ronnie L. Deckard, II, of Mount Vernon, one count of aggravated possession of drugs, methamphetamine, a fifth-degree felony.
Clinton R. Harstine, of Mount Vernon, one count of aggravated possession of drugs, methamphetamine, a third-degree felony, and one count of tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony.
Kathryn D. Ison, of Mount Vernon, one count of operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, a first-degree misdemeanor, and one count of improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, a fifth-degree felony.
Rickie L. Rhea, of Mount Vernon, one count of possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony, and one count of tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony.
