MOUNT VERNON — The Mount Vernon community welcomed summer with a 1950s “Hey, Daddy-O” at June First Friday.

Festivities included live music performances from local bands, MTVarts cast of Grease giving a sneak peek into its upcoming show, and a visit from the Words on Wheels (W.O.W.) Bus.

The First Friday Passport by Experience Mount Vernon also made its debut.
