Robert Peter Fleig, age 68, of Utica, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Country Court Nursing Home in Mount Vernon, Ohio. He was born on March 29, 1958, in Plainfield, New Jersey, to the late William and Theresa (Scherer) Fleig.
Robert was very proud of serving his country in the United States Marine Corp and made the rank of Lance Corporal. Robert was a maintenance engineer for G.K. Packaging in Plain City, Ohio. He also worked for Constar/Plastipak in Hebron, Ohio.
Robert enjoyed target shooting, model trains, gardening, and spending time with his two dogs, Jasmine and Bella. Most of all he loved being around his family.
Robert is survived by his sons, Corey Fleig, Nick Fleig; stepdaughter, Stacey Green; brothers, Greg (Sherri) Fleig, Carl (Debbie) Fleig; nephew, Kevin (Chelsie) Fleig; niece, Jenny Fleig.
Along with his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his wife, Pamela (Overly) Fleig.
