Ulanda “Lonnie” M. Jones, 84, of Fredericktown died on Saturday morning, May 23, 2026 at the Ohio Health Hospice House in Columbus. She was born on September 20, 1941 in Chesterville, Ohio to the late James and Maxine (Holbumb) Depue.
Lonnie was a member of Christ the King Community Church near Fredericktown. She enjoyed quilting, cooking, and spending time with her family and church family. She loved flowers but she did not have a “green thumb”.
Lonnie is survived by her children, Beck (Dee) Jones, Phillip Jones, David (Lisa) Johnson, and Yvonne (Mike) Saterstad; step children, Bill (Jana) Jones, Kim Jones, Ken Jones, Dawn (Allan) Bowman, Cheri Jones, Ron Jones, and James Jones; 12 grandchildren, 11 step grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 5 step great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren; sister, Pauline Cox; brother, James Depue; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Lonnie was preceded in death by her first husband, Bobby Johnson; her second husband, James Jones; a step son, Tony; and sisters, Marion, Emily, and Diane;
The family will have a celebration of life service at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Christ the King Community Church, 15598 McClelland Rd., Fredericktown, Ohio 43019 with Rev. Dr. Lucian Baker officiating.
