He was born on April 19, 1939, in Farmers, Kentucky, to the late Rev. Hurshal and Elsie Pearl (Vanlandingham) Moore.

Bobby owned and operated Moore Demolition and Excavating in Columbus for many years and took great pride in his work, his property, and providing for his family. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army and a dedicated member of Amvets Post #95 in Mount Vernon. Bobby deeply loved his military community and the lifelong friendships he formed through it.

He had a wonderful smile that could light up a room and will be remembered for his strong work ethic, warm heart, and the steady presence he brought to the lives of those who knew him.

Most of all, Bobby was a devoted brother, father and grandfather whose love and guidance will be deeply missed by his family.

He is survived by his daughter, Sandy Moore Hatfield; his grandsons, Zachery (Tiara) Collins and Jonse Hatfield; his great-granddaughter, Donna Baker; his sister, Sharron (Wayne) Cole; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends; and his faithful canine companion, Pete.

In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his brothers, Hurshal Moore Jr., Granville Moore, and Duaine Moore; and his sisters, Emma Jane Moore and Virginia Lake.

The family would also like to thank all those who have offered love, prayers, and support during this difficult time.

Though he will be deeply missed, Bobby’s strength, kindness, smile, and love will remain in the hearts of his family forever.
