DANVILLE — Danville FFA members started their morning bright and early by driving their tractors to school on May 14.
After the first bell, members participated in the annual tractor parade through town and down to the elementary school, where they kicked off Ag Awareness Day.
Throughout the day, FFA members shared their passion for agriculture with elementary students through hands-on activities. Students learned about cattle, sheep, goats, poultry, horses, swine, tractors, and plants. The Knox Soil and Water Conservation District participated with its educational trailer to teach students about environmental awareness and conservation.
