DANVILLE — Three Danville FFA members etched their name in Danville FFA history when they received their state FFA degree earlier this month.

Tyson Payne, Jaxon Bruff and Ike Ball earned that achievement on May 1 at the 98th State FFA Convention.

Roughly 2.5 percent of FFA members receive their state degree due to the rigorous application process. Students have to be at least a junior in good standing, complete at least 25 hours of community service, and have a productive SAE (supervised agricultural experience), among other steps.

Delila Colopy, a freshman member of the Danville FFA Chapter was recently selected to the Ohio FFA State Band at the 98th Ohio FFA Convention. Colopy applied and was selected as a member of the Tuba section. Congratulations on this great honor not only representing the Danville FFA, but the Danville Band as well.
