Hildegarde M. Milke-Doup, age 77, of Mount Vernon, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at The Ohio Eastern Star Home.
She was born on January 16, 1949, in Nuremberg, Germany to the late Victor and Adeline (Grandson) Milke.
Hildegarde is survived by her son, Charles Gramelt Jr. and daughter, Hilda Marie (Douglas) Lumbatis; three grandchildren, Kayla Crawshaw, Kimberly Cook, Joseph Roman; two great-grandchildren, Reese Crawshaw, Parker Cook; two brothers, Otto Milke and John Milke.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Victor Milke and Alex Tietz.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026; from 3:00 – 5:00 PM at Snyder Funeral Home – Lasater Chapel, 11337 Upper Gilchrist Road in Mount Vernon.
