MOUNT VERNON — Garden enthusiasts and beginners alike are invited to dig into spring at the upcoming Knox County Extension Master Gardener annual spring plant sale.
The event offers a wide selection of plants and expert advice.
The Knox County Extension Master Gardeners will host the sale, which will take place on Saturday, May 16, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the upper level of the Ramser 4-H Activity Center located at 700 Perimeter Drive.
Attendees can browse a variety of plants, including annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables, native species and houseplants, all carefully selected.
Whether you are a seasoned gardener or just getting started, there is something for everyone. It’s not just plants: It’s about connecting people with nature and each other.
In addition to plants, the event features seed catalogs and books to look through, favorite garden tools of the master gardeners, and questions and answers about the garden.
Proceeds from the sale benefit Knox County Habitat for Humanity homeowners in the purchasing of tools to maintain their gardens.
Early arrival is encouraged for the best selection. Cash is the only form of payment.
