MOUNT VERNON — The Kiwanis Club of Mount Vernon would like to thank the 100-plus attendees of its Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast who attended the event on Saturday, March 28.
“What a big hit this event was!” the club stated in a press release. “Through your generosity, we raised over $1,100 in proceeds to benefit the children of Knox County, including the Dolly Parton Imagination Library.”
Special recognition and appreciation goes to Lakeholm Church of the Nazarene, Smithhisler Meats, the Key Club, Mount Vernon Fire Department and Knox Community Hospital for their generous support of this event.
