Juanita D. Hazen, age 84, of Fredericktown, Ohio went to her heavenly home surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, February 21, 2026.
Juanita was born on July 6, 1941, in Richland County, Ohio to the late Richard and Ina (Johnson) Hagner.
Juanita enjoyed being outside camping and doing a variety of crafts. She was a 4-H advisor and cherished her years of providing childcare. She also had a love for playing the dulcimer.
She served her community through many years of working as an EMT for Fredericktown Squad and volunteering for Fredericktown Schools. Juanita was a member of the Fredericktown Church of Christ and a member of Wayne Grange.
Juanita is survived by her husband, Larry, whom she married on July 10, 1960. Their three children; Renn (Val) Hazen of Mt. Vernon, OH, Carol (Troy) Tressel of Navarre, OH and Sheri (Sam) sine of Fredericktown, OH; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; a brother Lawrence Hagner; and her faithful yorkie, Ginger.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her stepmother Rhama Bishop; a great grandson; a sister, Jeanne Chamberlain, a brother Howard Hagner and three of her beloved yorkies, Rags, Jigs and Cami.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Western Reserve.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 11:00 am until the time of the celebration of life service starting at 1:00 pm at Snyder Funeral Homes-Lasater Chapel; 11337 Upper Gilchrist Road, Mount Vernon, Ohio, 43050 with Pastor Aaron Veyon officiating.
