FREDERICKTOWN — The Fredericktown FFA Alumni held its annual Farm Toy Show on Feb. 14.
Established in February 2025, the show is a significant event. It serves as the primary fundraiser for the FFA Alumni, an organization that supports educational and leadership opportunities for local FFA chapter members throughout the year.
While the alumni host and manage the event, Fredericktown FFA chapter members provide support throughout the day in all areas of the show.
Immediately after the school day ended on Feb. 13, members assisted with the logistical setup of the event, including arranging tables and helping vendors move their equipment and displays into the facility. Members also assisted with preparing and staffing the concessions area.
The Fredericktown FFA Alumni Farm Toy Show allows vendors from across the nation to bring their collectibles and set up their stations for the public to view and purchase.
Throughout the show, chapter members worked various shifts to ensure the event ran smoothly, providing assistance with vendor needs, ticket-taking, and general event support.
Additionally, members utilized their skills to build custom trophies, which were presented to the display exhibitors during the event.
Around 11 a.m., the alumni held a pedal tractor pull. Chapter members assisted alumni in running the competition, which featured several age brackets. Once the show concluded, FFA members remained on-site to assist vendors in tearing down their displays and moving out of the facility.
The chapter appreciates the alumni for hosting this event and for the continued opportunities they provide to the membership.
