The Indians’ shooting moved in front for a 32-21 lead over the Pirates at the intermission.

Mt. Gilead charged to a 49-34 lead heading into the fourth quarter.

The Indians held on with a 22-16 scoring edge in the final quarter.

Last season, Cardington-Lincoln and Mt Gilead squared off on Feb. 4, 2025 at Cardington High School.

In recent action on Jan. 30, Mt Gilead faced off against Howard E. Knox and Cardington-Lincoln took on Centerburg on Jan. 30 at Centerburg High School.
