Michael F. Fesler, age 79, of Mount Vernon, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
He was born on May 28, 1946, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Jerome and Mildred (Moritz) Fesler.
Michael was a United States Army Veteran.
He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly (Freedom) Desich of Danville; three grandchildren, Ashley Bales, Cole Bales, Nickolas Desich; four great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mary Jane (Paul) Smith.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Kay Fesler and a brother, Mark Fesler.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Snyder Funeral Home – Lasater Chapel, 11337 Upper Gilchrist Road in Mount Vernon.
