MOUNT VERNON — Knox County Treasurer, Connie Durbin, reminds property owners real estate taxes are due on Friday, Feb. 13.
Tax bills were mailed out on Jan. 12. Payments may be made in the Treasurer’s Office Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Payment can also be made online through the treasurer’s site at www.co.knox.oh.us . There is a fee charged by a third-party processor.
Mailed payments must be postmarked no later than Feb. 13 to avoid a penalty.
Property owners are responsible for paying their taxes even if a statement is not received.
