Linda Lee Van Houten, 86, of Howard passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at the Country Club Rehabilitation Campus in Mount Vernon. She was born on February 24, 1939 in Columbus, Ohio to the late John and Betty (Hamilton) Corbin.
Linda was an accomplished oil painter and an avid reader. Her and her husband, Jon traveled all over Europe and lived for a year in England. Linda loved taking care of her family.
Linda is survived by her husband, Jon whom she married on February 28, 1974; her children, Steve Hamilton of Columbus, Julie Lengle of Columbus and Brendan Van Houten of Granville; 6 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
