Marjorie was a longtime member of the Utica Church of Christ and was a member of the Morgan Center Grange and Ohio Eastern Star for over 50 years. Marjorie previously served as the Clerk of Morgan Township for many years and also spent time in employment with various other companies such as Holophane, Neff’s grocery store, and Technical Rubber Company where she retired in 2008.
However, Majorie’s most notable career accomplishment was acting as the linchpin for the family business, Jack Raines Excavating, where she was responsible for the business’ essential administrative responsibilities.
In a final act of generosity, Marjorie donated her body to science at The Ohio State University, continuing to give even in death.
The family extends their deepest gratitude to The Ohio Eastern Star Home and Capital City Hospice for their compassionate care.
