Ashland posted a narrow 65-63 win over Lexington for an Ohio boys basketball victory at Ashland High on Dec. 23.

Lexington showed it was ready to play, using an early thrust to carve out a 14-12 advantage over Ashland as the first quarter ended.

The Arrows kept a 31-30 half margin at the Minutemen’s expense.

Lexington took the lead 52-46 to start the final quarter.

The final quarter was decisive for the Arrows, as they climbed out of a hole with a 65-63 scoring margin.

Last time Lexington and Ashland played in a 69-48 game on Feb. 25, 2025.
