Thomas Edward Harris, 81 of Johnstown, Ohio passed away peacefully December 19th, surrounded by his family.
Tom was born in Galion, Ohio November 11th, 1944 to Thomas and Genevieve Harris. He is preceded in death by his parents, five siblings, and son, Matthew Scott Harris.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Burkholder Harris, brother Jon Harris (Barb), children Lisa Murphy (Shane), Tom Harris (Michelle), Amber Harris (Sean), Andy Taylor (Belinda), Jill Grube (Adam), sisters-in-law Marie Burkholder and Wave Greenwald, 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Tom was a member of the Croton Church of Christ. He was employed by Rolls Royce for 30 years and the Mt. Vernon Shopping Center.
As a member of the Danville Blue Devils football team for four years, he enjoyed playing football and sharing the stories with his friends and family.
Tom loved landscaping, fishing, playing cards and most of all spending time with friends and family, especially his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 4-7pm on Monday, December 22, 2025 at the Croton Church of Christ, 40 S. Main St., Croton. Funeral service will be held at 11am on Tuesday at Croton Church of Christ with Dan Hamilton and Terry Erwin officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Township Cemetery.
