Coshocton darted in front of Newcomerstown 18-16 to begin the second quarter.
The Redskins registered a 29-25 advantage at intermission over the Trojans.
Newcomerstown responded in the third quarter by cutting the margin to 48-46.
Nothing was decided in the fourth quarter, with the Redskins and the Trojans locked in a 64-64 stalemate.
Coshocton held on with a 13-5 scoring edge in the first overtime period.
