Vivian L. McMillan, 90, of Saint Clairsville, Ohio formerly of Mount Vernon, Ohio died on Tuesday afternoon, November 4, 2025 at WVU Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, West Virginia. She was born on July 30, 1935 in Millwood, Ohio to the late Wendell M. and Mildred M. (Day) Mills.
Vivian retired from the Fredericktown School System where she was a bus driver and an aide for over 26 years. She was a volunteer at Knox Community Hospital for many years. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Mount Vernon, where she was active with the Prime Time Group and went on several Witness Mission Trips.
Vivian is survived by grandchildren, Allan (Charity) McMillan of St. Clairsville, Ohio, Lisa (J.C.) Verardi of Saint Clairsville, Ohio, and Rachel (Andrew) Hollingsworth on mission in Puebla, Mexico; and great grandchildren, Riley and Aiden McMillan, Brandon, Nate, Anthony (Anna), and Jonathan Verardi, and Daniel and Hannah Hollingsworth.
In addition to her parents, Vivian was preceded in death by Robert McMillan, her husband of 61 years and her sons, Rev. Craig McMillan and Brian McMillan.
The family will receive friends at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Flowers Chapel 619 East High St., Mount Vernon on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 10:00 AM with a Celebration of Life service honoring the life of Vivian at 11:00 AM with Rev. Mike Norris officiating.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Work and Witness Missions of the First Church of the Nazarene, 807 Coshocton Avenue, Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050.
