Dwight C. Small, 80, of Mount Vernon passed away on Tuesday morning, October 21, 2025 at Knox Community Hospital. He was born on December 22, 1944 in Mount Vernon to the late Robert C. and Mirian (Parsons) Small.
Dwight honorably served his country in the Navy during Vietnam. He had worked for Mohican Wood Products as a truck driver.
Dwight is survived by his daughter, Dawn (Jolene)Tharp, significant other, Janet Rockwell, sister, Cecile Warren of Tennessee, bonus children Michelle (Matt) Bales-Stepp and Jennifer (Bill) Clark, grandchildren, Alexis Tharp, Jaidyn and Jobey Hawkins, Zachary and Nicholas Everhart, Alaynia, Brayden and Adrian Clark, great granddaughter Ophelia Huffman.
In accordance with Dwight’s request, there will not be any services.
