CENTERBURG — The annual fall phenomenon got underway in Knox County on Thursday night as Centerburg youngsters of all ages transformed themselves into ravens, cowboys, even a slice of pizza.

Centerburg Christian Church’s Fuller Center resembled a Star Trek Federation Council, with fairies, witches, lions and other species stopping in for hot dogs and hot chocolate. At times, it was hard to tell who was having more fun: the little ghosts and goblins or their handlers.

And according to eyewitness accounts, the rain didn’t melt the treats or dim the glow lights handed out by the COJFD firefighters.

Below are Cheryl Splain’s photos of Trick or Treat in Centerburg.
