Zona M. Stillions, age 90, of Mount Vernon passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at the Country Court Nursing Home.
She was born on July 2, 1935, in Sycamore, Ohio to the late Morris and Goldie (Johnson) Eicher. Zona was employed for over 5 years at the Shelby Air Force Base and over 17 years at the Newark Air Force Base as an administrator. She enjoyed sewing but most of all she loved the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, of over 60 years, Robert Stillions; her sons Brad Stillions, Michael Stillions; her daughter Bobbi Mickley; and six grandchildren, Kalie (Austin) Shellenbarg, Logan Stillions, Rachel Mickley, Lauren Mickley, Erin Mickley and Darren Mickley.
In addition to her parents, Zona was preceded in death by her sisters Zoa Karcher, Barbara Snyder; and her brother William Eicher.
Friends may call on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 5-7pm at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home. The family will observe a private graveside service in Newark Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
