Steubenville Cath. Cent. posted a narrow 52-45 win over Zanesville Rosecrans for an Ohio high school football victory at Catholic Central High on Sept. 6.
The start wasn’t the problem for Zanesville Rosecrans, as it began with a 14-7 edge over Steubenville Cath. Cent. through the end of the first quarter.
The Bishops had a 21-14 edge on the Crusaders at the beginning of the third quarter.
Steubenville Cath. Cent. broke in front at the beginning of the fourth quarter with a 46-28 lead over Zanesville Rosecrans.
The Bishops narrowed the gap 17-6 in the fourth quarter but it was too little, too late.
Recently on Aug. 29, Zanesville Rosecrans squared off with New London in a football game.
